Sources: NAM Manufacturing Investment Tracker (manufacturing investment announcements since January 2025, updated daily); U.S. EPA, PM2.5 Design Values, 2025 (2023–2025 county-maximum annual design values, published June 2026); U.S. Census Bureau cartographic county and 119th-Congress district boundaries; current representatives from the unitedstates/congress-legislators dataset. A county is treated as exceeding a candidate annual standard when its published design value is greater than that level; counties without air quality monitors are treated as attaining. Announcements that could be located only to a state are excluded from the counts.
