Be a Leading Voice
The NAM Ambassador Network is comprised of a select group of small and medium sized manufacturers who represent a leading voice on priority issues facing the industry. Ambassadors have the opportunity to…
- Advance the NAM’s ability to advocate on your behalf by sharing stories or anecdotes about how a policy issue affects your business.
- Spread key messages about manufacturing issues and drive social media conversations about pro-manufacturing priorities.
- Join colleagues across the manufacturing industry in signing official letters to Congress on top manufacturing priorities.
- Host elected officials for a facility tour and invite other manufacturers and community leaders to participate (or agree to do so virtually).
- Work with the NAM to submit an op-ed, letter to the editor, or making a media appearance on a NAM priority issues.
The NAM has a dedicated team of staff members ready to walk you through every step of this program. Interested? Please contact NAM Executive Vice President Erin Streeter.

Ambassadors At-Work
The NAM’s Ambassadors use their voices to get more priorities across the finish line and shape the debate about our industry. From telling their story to hosting a member of Congress, NAM Ambassadors are proven change makers. Check out just a few examples of how the NAM’s Ambassador Program has helped to move the needle across a variety of key issues facing the industry:
Miles Fiberglass & Composites (Clackamas, OR)
Lori Miles-Olund, company president, partnered with the NAM to create a video-story as part of the NAM’s Competing to Win campaign. Thanks to voices like Lori’s, The NAM successfully beat back a provision in the proposed “reconciliation” package that would have imposed taxes that disproportionately affect manufacturers.
Cemen Tech (Indianola, IA)
The world’s largest manufacturer of volumetric technology hosted Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks for a facility visit during August recess. Following the Congresswoman’s visit, Cemen Tech and the NAM discussed the future of the workforce and a growth formula that fellow manufacturers can replicate.
CORE Molding (Columbus, OH)
After the large-format compression-molding maker hosted South Carolina State Rep, Ralph Norman at their SC facility, the NAM profiled CORE’s unique perspective on immigration and workforce availability.
Pequot Manufacturing (Jenkins, MN)
The precision machining and fabrication leader partnered with the NAM to host Rep. Pete Stauber for a facility visit, with thoughtful discussion about the supply chain & workforce challenges that manufacturers are facing.
SGL Carbon (Charlotte, NC)
The global manufacturer of products derived from carbon and graphite partnered with the NAM to share their story on how they’re working to meet the global demand for semiconductors, addressing the critical need to increase domestic chipmaking capacity here in the United States.
